French Pressers Rejoice! This week we have the Ethiopian Aricha Two and it is amazing! The Aricha Two was sourced by “90+” and processed by the famed
SA Bagersh (who brought us the Aricha Seven). This organic Ethiopian is clean, sweet and fruity with even MORE berry than the Aricha Seven. One taste and you’ll know why coffee-lovers love Ethiopian coffee!

This week’s French Press is one of our staff favorites. The Ethiopian Organic Sidamo Schilcho is grown at an elevation between 1,600-2,500 feet above sea level and under the shade of banana and other native trees. This coffee is tended by a community that truly owes its livelihood to the quality they produce. This is a sweet and fruit-laced coffee with mild citrus, clean melon, pink grapefruit and hints of bergamot tea. We found it to be a uniquely wonderful coffee, one of the best washed Ethiopians of the year!

Come try a cup of our Sumatra Blue Batak! This is Lake Tawar on a sugar high. This amazingly unique coffee won “Best of Brew” at the Ultimate Barista Challenge in New York City in 2008. The judges described the aroma as “sweet butterscotch” with the finish of a “crisp green pepper.” You just have to try this coffee to experience what we’re talking about. Grown around Lake Toba, one of the deepest and most beautiful lakes in the world, and harvested by the indiginous Batak tribe. Come try a cup!
We serve our French Press from 7am to 12pm Monday through Saturday.

Da dum. Da dum. Da dum. Ahhh!
This Halloween was especially festive, as we had not only a number of our own staff dress up, but our very own baby mascot ready to frighten away any unsuspecting early trick or treaters. We hope your Halloween was as fun as ours was!
